Three Golden Hearts in Need of Healing
Life can change in an instant, and for some of the dogs who come to GRRoM, it feels like their whole world has been turned upside down. Right now, we have three very special senior Goldens—Harley, Davidson, and Holly—who need our help more than ever.
✨ Harley & Davidson
Two gentle souls, bonded for life, lost their beloved owner and are now in GRRoM’s care. They’ve already lost their person—they cannot lose each other. We are committed to keeping them together, but both boys face medical concerns that must be addressed:
Harley has lost a significant amount of weight, and we need to determine whether this is from missed meals or an underlying condition.
Davidson struggles with mobility, and we want to know if this is simply age-related or if an injury is causing his pain.
Both need to be neutered, brought up to date on vaccines, and given the veterinary care they deserve.
Despite their losses, Harley and Davidson remain loyal, loving, and gentle. They are good with other dogs and simply need kindness, patience, and a quiet place to land.
✨ Holly
At 8 years old, Holly was surrendered to GRRoM with her sister Lucy (who has already found a forever home). Holly, however, faces a steeper road. She required spaying right away, and further tests revealed severe shoulder dysplasia and hip dysplasia, leaving her with significant lameness. She is now being treated with medications and requires ongoing monitoring and bloodwork to maintain her mobility and quality of life.
💛 How You Can Help
These aren’t just rescue dogs—they are grieving, resilient companions who have had everything taken from them and now depend on GRRoM. Their veterinary needs are urgent, and the cost of their care is significant.
Please, open your heart and consider donating today.
Your support gives Harley, Davidson, and Holly the chance to heal, to feel safe again, and to know that even in their senior years, they are deeply loved.
