Featured Golden Hazel
Hazel’s story is one of extraordinary resilience and healing. Found on the side of the road in Flint, MI, and surrendered to GRRoM in late 2024, Hazel arrived with a long list of medical challenges—eye infections, untreated ear infections, skin issues, malnutrition, and more. But thanks to the unwavering care of her foster mom, Layla, Hazel has made incredible progress and is thriving.
Still, her journey isn’t over: Hazel has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and will likely need double hip replacement surgery in the future. To support her ongoing care, GRRoM has launched the Hazel Fund, ensuring Hazel will have the resources to give her the future she deserves. Hazel’s strength and sweet spirit have touched us all—join us in securing her bright tomorrow.
