Riley is loyal, obedient, deeply affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is fully house-trained and completely trustworthy when left alone. He knows his basic commands and is highly motivated by treats and toys. Riley is a sensitive soul who finds the bustling outside world a bit overwhelming at times. Because other dogs make him nervous, he needs to be the only pet in the home. While he's a bundle of joy, his compatibility with young children is uncertain so, he would be best suited for households with children aged 10 and older. A home in a quieter neighborhood that has a securely fenced backyard is required to accommodate his love for playing. Riley enjoys long walks, though he could use a bit of guidance to curb his enthusiasm and decrease his pulling on the leash. Riley will thrive in a structured, loving home where he can be the center of attention. He should do well with an experienced or novice family that is responsive to his needs.
