Wrigley

Ready for Adoption!
About:
Wrigley is a sweet, perfectly behaved gentleman. His fosters have seen no inappropriate chewing or getting into things he shouldn’t, and he can be left free in the home without concern. He rides well in a car and loves to play fetch. He walks great on leash with no pulling. He loves playing with his toys and carefully selects which one he wants to play with and then brings it over to you to join him in his fun. His favorite thing is his blankey. It is like having your own Punch the monkey as he brings it with him everywhere in the house. He loves to be brushed, and it is one of his favorite bonding moments, giving you the cutest booty wiggle to show you just how much he enjoys it.
Wriggly was surrendered due to there being a new toddler in the family and he has not adjusted to the unpredictability of young toddlers in constant motion. He does better in a calmer environment. Wrigley does well with older children so GRRoM recommends dog savvy children be at least 10. He does well with cats and smaller dogs but can be anxious round other large dogs even though Wrigley is a rather large dog himself. He currently weighs in at about 102 lbs., having lost 25 lbs. in the past 8 months and another 4 while in foster care through diet and daily exercise. Wrigley should do well with an experienced or novice family and formal obedience training is not required but, as always, it would be a great bonding experience. Physical fence would be ideal but other forms of containment will also be considered. Wrigley will bring immeasurable joy and happiness to any family he joins.
