TRINITY AND JOURNEY ARE A BONDED PAIR THAT HAVE LIVED TOGETHER THEIR ENTIRE LIVES UNTIL THEIR OWNER PASSED AWAY. IDEALLY, WE WOULD LIKE THEM ADOPTED TOGETHER BUT OTHER OPTIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED.
TRINITY: Trinity is a sweet, 42-pound girl, estimated to be around 5 years old. Despite missing her front right leg, she is active, gets around well and loves playing with balls and toys. She loves to chase and play with her favorites. She is a total sweetheart and incredibly affectionate. She loves nothing more than curling up next to her people to soak up all the attention and ear scratches she can get. Trinity is great with children and other dogs and would love to have a canine companion. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. She would be a wonderful companion for a novice or experienced family. She would benefit from a patient home willing to help her with house training, as she is still learning how to signal when she needs to go outside. No formal obedience training is required, just continued positive reinforcement. A physical fence is recommended, but we are open to discussing other containment options for the right environment. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily cuddle beside you and brighten your day, Trinity may be your girl!
JOURNEY: Journey is a petite, 42 pound, sweet and affectionate girl who is estimated to be about 5 years old. Journey absolutely loves attention and is always ready for pets and affection, especially when her sister isn’t trying to steal the spotlight! She enjoys spending time with her people and loves chasing after balls. Journey has a deformed front right leg, but don’t let that fool you, she is still able to put weight on it and enjoys running around and playing. Journey does well with children and is good with other dogs. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. She could be a great match for a novice or experienced owner who is willing to give her a little patience and guidance as she settles into her new home. Journey may need some house training reinforcement as she sometimes has difficulty communicating when she needs to go outside. She has also been known to chew on small clothing items when they are left within reach. Her new family should be prepared to keep tempting items put away and continue working with her using positive reinforcement. Obedience training is recommended to help Journey learn good manners and become the best version of herself. A physical fence is recommended, although other forms of containment may be considered for the right home.
