Magnolia

Young Female Golden Retriever

Status:

Available for Adoption

About:

Magnolia is an affectionate sweetie pie who came from a puppy mill. She weighs 52 lb. and has a big goofy personality and a heart full of love. She is playful, incredibly smart and just a little stubborn in the most endearing way. Her favorite game? Taking every single toy out of her toy box, giving each one a quick play session and leaving them scattered like little treasures around the house. Magnolia thrives when she has outlets for play and exercise. She is working on crate training and prefers her crate in a spot where she can see her people. She is housebroken and learning basic commands and leash manners. She does well with other dogs and would be likely be happiest in a home with another friendly canine companion though she does have some resource guarding tendencies.  She is kind to children but because of her puppy-like enthusiasm, it is recommended that children be over age 10.  A physical fence is required. She would do well with an experienced or novice family in an active household committed to good nutrition and training.  Formal positive reinforcement obedience training is recommended and may be required depending on the experience of the adopter. If you are ready for a joyful, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling, Magnolia wants to meet you.
