I have been in love with Goldens for decades and have had 6. I have watched one of my therapy dog Goldens comfort sick children at Mott Children’s Hospital, even though she was blind herself. The amount of love they have inside them is truly amazing. Even when they come from the worst possible circumstances, they are ready to trust and love again. Every Golden deserves a life where they are adored and protected.

Rescue Tip:

Have patience. Patience with this dog, who comes to you completely stripped of everything they know. Give them time, give them love, and watch them blossom. And patience with yourself because there will be times when you question the journey. But rest assured 100% of the time, it’s worth it.
