Foster Applications Manager

I became involved with GRRoM in 2021 after losing my beloved Golden, Jaysea-Star, to cancer at just eight years old. Heartbroken, I turned to my computer and found GRRoM, which led me to adopt Luna—a decision that has brought immeasurable joy to my life and many others. I have deep admiration for GRRoM’s dedicated volunteers, whose commitment to giving rescued Goldens their best lives inspired me to get involved administratively in 2021, assisting with the Foster Team.

My experience transporting puppy mill Goldens from Ohio on two occasions reinforced for me the vital role of finding loving foster homes in helping these dogs transition to a brighter future.

I was born and raised in Dearborn, spent 25 years living on Drummond Island, and now reside in Plymouth. In addition to my work with GRRoM, I am also passionate about Great Lakes Maritime History, particularly preserving shipwrecks and lighthouses.
