Are you ready for a furry friend that is overflowing with love?  Look no further, Koda is here to steal your heart.  He is an energetic companion who is always up for an adventure.  Whether it is playing fetch or going for a long walk, Koda is your go-to buddy for outdoor fun.  His favorite thing of all is swimming so if you have a pool or live near a lake, he will be in heaven.  Koda has undergone professional training with his previous owner due to resource guarding food and toys. However, this has not happened at his foster home. He is a social butterfly that enjoys meeting other dogs and cats, but he needs to learn to respect their boundaries. As such, he would do best as an only pet. An experienced family or additional professional training is recommended. He is very smart, and food driven, which makes him receptive to training. He is crate trained and he’s also trustworthy enough to free roam when you're not home.  He is good with older children and children must be over 12 due to his large size and exuberant personality. A physically fenced yard is always preferred but other forms of containment would be acceptable. Did we mention he is a total cuddle-bug??  He will happily shower you with love every chance he gets.  If you are ready to welcome a loving, active companion to your home, come meet Koda.
