Harley is bright, curious, and full of puppy sass. She loves to play with her golden foster sister, hasn't had any accidents since arriving in her foster home, and is eager to learn. She's still learning how to walk on a leash (lots of breaks to chase butterflies preferred) and was crate trained in her previous home but would rather nap on the couch in her foster home. She gets into typical puppy mischief but is easily distracted by peanut butter. She's a vocal girl who lets the squirrels know who's boss and voices her displeasure when dinner is late. Harley is an owner surrender who didn't have a great experience in her previous home and now has some struggles with resource guarding. She's made great progress in her foster home where her boundaries and personal space are respected but will need ongoing training with her forever family. An experienced family with no children under 12 and a willingness to work with a trainer to help Harley overcome these issues are required. Due to her age a physical fence is also recommended. A playful dog sibling is a bonus! Harley will thrive with the right family who has the patience to help her be the best girl we know she can be!

Positive reinforcement obedience training is highly recommended.
A family who can work with her on her resource guarding learned in her previous home is necessary.
