About:

This well-loved, bonded pair lived in their previous home since young puppies and were surrendered due to divorce. Both came to GRRoM with stated age of 9 but birthdates are unknown.

Diesel and Shelby are wonderfully loving and sweet.  They love running off leash and return when they are called.  They have clearly been taken good care of earlier in their lives but upon arrival Shelby was overweight and a resource guarder and Mack was desperate for food and underweight.  This behavior has disappeared as they now seem to trust there is enough for both of them.   

Diesel is soft as silk, playful and goofy, loves balls and snuggling. He likes to pick up socks and gloves when excited but does not destroy them and drops them when told. 

Shelby is sweet and good natured and loves snuggling and being pet. 

They both know their names and basic commands and are well behaved on leash. They can chew through Kong toys but the foster has found that simple lacrosse balls are the perfect size and material for them. 

They were raised with children with no known problems but have not been exposed to children in their foster home so children over 10 may be best.

They have been great with every human they have met and are good with other dogs, including the 7-year-old resident Golden in their foster home. They have even been to the dog park where they were good with all the dogs and humans too.  They have had no known exposure to cats. They would do fine with a novice family and will bring endless joy to the lucky family who adopts them.

Cats are unknown.

Gets along with other dogs.
