2023 GRRoM Picnic

The pictures tell all! Our GRRoM picnic was held on Sunday September 24, 2023 at a park in Wixom.

No question about it: a Golden day. There were 60 dog lovers attending, 23 Goldens and 1 token Collie!

The day was splendid. We all gathered in the pavilion with lots of barks and greetings. So many connections for all of us. Fosters seeing their foster dogs again. Heartwarming. There was lots of yummy food, appreciation gifts for our volunteers and catching up. Seeing these beautiful dogs with their owners looking happy, healthy and loved: this is what GRRoM is all about. 

Highlight: everyone took their dogs to the big fenced in baseball field next to the pavilion and off they went footloose and fancy free. Running, chasing, jumping. Every color of Golden with the sun shining on them was a beautiful sight. 

A fun time was had by all!!!!
