We invite you to attend an upcoming GRRoM Foster/Transporter Training Workshop in the Fenton Area. This is similar to previous GRRoM trainings, so if you've already attended one in the past, please allow space for others to attend.
This workshop will address pertinent issues with transporting and fostering newly acquired Golden Retrievers. A professional dog trainer will provide guidance in preparation for and introduction of the surrendered dog to your vehicle/home/family/pets. She will share knowledge of recognizing and addressing various dog behaviors. We will review GRRoM's updated transportation and fostering processes and answer your questions/concerns.
Facility owner/professional trainer, Bobbie Jo Jackson, has graciously welcomed us to utilize her business - My Fur Baby’s Resort - for this workshop, and she will provide the training. We here at GRRoM are grateful for both!
Along with Bobbie Jo’s information, GRRoM’s own Transportation Coordinator, Elizabeth Danko, also kindly agreed to be present at this workshop, to address specific transport questions.
About Bobbie Jo:
Bobbie Jo’s background in the dog boarding business began after 15 years in the medical billing field. Bobbie Jo said, “While there are a lot of reasons I changed careers, my main reason is my love and passion for animals. I had a difficult German Short haired, Blue, and I learned fast that I could be doing better for him. I opened My Fur Baby's Resort to help others with their fur babies, to provide the best possible life for both the dog and owners, by training and providing a safe environment for boarding and daycare.” Bobbie Jo is certified in Force-Free Positive Reinforcement Training.
